shadowville productions guys are really good too and have free beats for nonprofit use, u dont even have to pay for a membership - www.shadowvillepro.com they also sell licenses for profitable use but too bad im broke
Great site - Hate the sound the starts when you open new pages though! It's pretty cheap as well... But the best thing about it the part: "The difference between us, and them" - True! With exceptions of course, for example if you want to fuel your FL with new waves there is ibeat.org - it's free, original and almost as large.
Fruity loops is really underrated. So many people bash it and it really is a powerful tool. The resources in it are really endless especially if you pair it up with the right vst's and vsti's. And it is by far the best software i have used for sampling beats..
why pay for sh*t you can just download somewhere else... i've been making beats for 10 yrs now and i do just fine with the sh*t i find randomly through my comp. and online... just tweak out original sounds to make new ones... this site is bogus fuc*ers....
why is everyone so ga ga over fl studio? I never really understood it. It doesn't do anything that the other applications do. In fact its inferior to most of them.
I'm not saying it isn't a good application i'm just wondering what all the hype is about

ReplyDeleteThanks for a great blog!
Yup - That sound is annoying. And the site could use a graphic overhaul... but that guy really is a dynamo. I'd even call him a quality dynamo.
